What can you say? Chaos is back in a major way. I'm actually excited about the releases this weekend, so I decided to start the process of army painting. Gonna be fun. The one thing that has always captured me about the Chaos Space Marine fluff (backstory) is the tragic hero aspect. These super humans were tasked w/ spreading the influence of the Imperium and were ultimately corrupted by dark forces, or abandoned by the very powers that unleashed them. They now live only to see the destruction of the Imperium they swore to build and protect. Love it.
Anyways, this is my Chaos Lord from the Dark Vengeance box set. Love the new approach to Chaos. Reminds me of an older school feel.
