The Plague Tide (possibly a re-post)

Here are a few images of the last few days on the surface of my paint table. I bring to you...

...Yes, the Tallymen of Nurgle themselves. Plaguebearers. Now, I've been into Warhammer 40,000 game for quite sometime but have never actually owned a single one of these guys. Glad to see they made it to plastic and in such easy to assemble dynamic kits.

I didn't realize what I was in for when I first opened the box, but I was surprised to find two very simple sprues that took me a little over half and hour to finish assembling in full. Enough can't be said about how fast this kit can be assembled. Really. Speed wouldn't be such a boon if the sculpts themselves didn't seen immediately uniform, yet varied. I'm still about 70% done though and have most of the devil's work left on them before sealing so more pics to come.

Turning the Corner.

These Warriors are the beginnings of a reworking of my Dark Eldar army. I'm going with a completely dark blood red armor. I wan't them to be easy to paint and make look good on the table. That's about it. More to come.
